Cancellation Refund Policy

At Travel Unseen India, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. Since our services involve third-party providers (hotels, airlines, transport operators, etc.), all cancellations and refunds are governed by both Travel Unseen India policies and third-party policies.

Cancellation by the Customer

General Conditions
  • Cancellation requests are accepted only via email or official WhatsApp text.
  • Advance payments/booking amounts are non-refundable unless specifically mentioned.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the tour/service type, booking date, and vendor policies.
 

Cancellation Charges (Standard Policy)

For Tour Packages (Domestic & International)
  • 30 days or more before travel date – 50% refund of advance
  • 15-29 days before travel date – 25% refund of advance
  • 14 days or less before travel date – No refund
Note: Flight/Train/Hotel cancellation charges apply as per their respective policies and may reduce the refund amount further.

 

Flight Tickets
  • Refund depends completely on the airline’s cancellation policy.
  • Some tickets (Promo/Discounted) may be non-refundable.
  • Airline cancellation fee + Travel Unseen India service fee applies.

 

Train Tickets
  • Refund as per IRCTC & Indian Railways regulations.
  • Tatkal tickets are non-refundable.

 

Hotel Bookings
  • Refund as per the hotel’s cancellation policy.
  • Many hotels follow:
  • Cancel 48+ hours before check-in – Partial refund
  • Cancel within 48 hours – No refund

 

Cab & Transportation Services
  • Cancellation 24 hours before service – Partial refund
  • Cancellation within 24 hours – No refund
 

No-Show Policy

If the traveler does not show up for the trip, service, or hotel stay:
  • No refund will be provided for unused bookings or services.
  • Full booking amount is considered forfeited..
 

Cancellation by Travel Unseen India

In rare circumstances where Travel Unseen India cancels your booking due to:
  • Natural calamities
  • Strikes or political unrest
  • Technical issues
  • Vendor overbooking
  • Situations beyond our control
We will offer one of the following:
1. Full refund, OR
2. Alternative travel option of equal value
The customer may choose the preferred option.
 

Refund Process & Timeline

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
  • Processing time:
  • 7-10 business days (Travel Unseen India)
In some cases, international payments may take 45+ days depending on the bank.
 

Non-Refundable Services

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Travel insurance
  • Convenience/payments fees
  • Festival/special-event bookings
  • Early bird or promotional offers
  • Fully customized itinerary service charges
  • Activities booked with third-party operators
 

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • A portion of the trip is unused
  • Only specific services are canceled
  • Supplier policies allow partial return
Actual refund amount will be communicated after vendor confirmation.
 

Disputes

Any disputes related to cancellations or refunds will be governed by Indian laws and settled under the jurisdiction of courts in India.
